These terms cover the recovery, transport, and related services provided by Recovery Doncaster. By asking us to carry out work, you agree to the terms set out below.
Our Services
We provide vehicle recovery, breakdown assistance, accident recovery, vehicle and caravan transport, fuel assistance, and the collection of MOT failures and scrap vehicles, across Doncaster and South Yorkshire. We will always do our best to reach you quickly, though response times depend on where you are, the weather, traffic, and how busy we are at the time.
Quotes and Pricing
Where we can, we will give you a price before we come out, so you know what to expect. Quotes are based on the information you give us. If the job turns out to be different from what was described, for example the vehicle is harder to reach or is a different size, the price may change. We will always tell you before carrying out any extra work.
Payment
Payment is due once the work is complete, unless we have agreed otherwise in advance. We accept cash, card, and bank transfer. Any vehicle held in storage will not be released until outstanding charges have been paid.
Your Vehicle
You confirm that you are the owner of the vehicle, or that you have the owner’s permission to arrange its recovery or transport. We treat every vehicle as if it were our own, but we cannot accept responsibility for faults or damage that were already present, or for personal items left inside the vehicle.
Storage
If we store your vehicle, a storage charge may apply for each day it stays with us. We will make this clear at the time. A vehicle left uncollected and unpaid for over a long period may be disposed of in line with the law, after we have given you notice.
Cancellations
If you no longer need us, please let us know as soon as you can. If we are already on our way or have arrived, a call out charge may still apply to cover our time and fuel.
Liability
We carry insurance for the recovery and transport work we do. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where the law does not allow it. Beyond that, our responsibility is limited to the value of the service we have provided.
